WTOC Osage County Agricultural Producers

Ryan is chef and owner of Argyle Catering, providing full-service catering for parties, luncheons and dinners. He prepared and served Osage County local foods and recipes for the Community Heritage event in Chamois, April 2010.

Stanley is owner and operator of MNM, the grocery store in Chamois. He provides authentic German bratwurst, sausage and cold cuts at the meat and deli counter.

The Campbells own the Thriftway store, a full-service grocery store with deli and bakery, easily accessible from Highway 50, west of Linn.

Connie raises grass-fed geese especially for the winter holiday season. She is also providing cruelty-free paté and partnering with other fine food preparers for cheeses and caviar.

Jim is owner and operator of the only full-service butcher shop in Osage County. He processes livestock and provides fresh meat products in an associated store, including a local favorite, whole hog sausage.

The Fennewalds own and operate Joe's Market, a community grocery store in Westphalia. They are famous in the county for great bologne sandwiches.

The Gelders hail from outside the county, but are pros at agritourism on their farm outside of Columbia. They raise a variety of small livestock for school and private children's tours and offer vegetables, honey products, and homemade ice cream for sale.

The Village Market is a grocery mainstay in Hermann, providing homemade baked goods in the German tradition with expected grocery and imported products, all in an engaging atmosphere.

Linda provides full-service catering from her home base in Linn, including specialty baked goods.

Russ is a founding member of Heritage Acres with a special interest in local food from his own Osage County. He is a livestock producer on his farm on the Missouri River side of the county.

The Lucks, mother, father and son, provide cakes, cupcakes, muffins and cookies from their home business in Linn.

Kathy manages the Subway in Linn. She and her staff provided box lunches for an entire conference of nearly 80 people.

The Stokes' grow asparagus, rhubarb, gooseberries, blackberries and horseradish for sale through the Columbia Farmer's Market. They also sell homemade jellies and jams.
